Pumpkins and Halloween!

Trying to catch up on my pictures! These are from our Pumpkin and Halloween Weeks. We kept our black crepe paper in the dramatic play center and changed it from the camping theme to a spook house! We had all kinds of costumes to dress up in and we made witch's brew.  Check it out!

Batman, the Red Ranger, and Buzz Lightyear

Don't know if you've heard, but we got a class puppy. Isn't she the cutest?!

Welcome to the spook house!

Mr./Mrs. Pumpkin Head

We read and acted out the story, "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Everything."

Our PM's Baseball Party.

We had nachos, hotdogs, cotton candy, and Cracker Jacks.

We had something called, "squishy baff," in our sensory table this week. It had a very strange consistency similar to applesauce.

Our AM class made an elephant for the school's pumpkin contest. We each helped paint the pumpkin, make the ears, and the eyes.

Our AM kids made bats from their little pumpkins.

We all voted on how we wanted our Jack-O-Lantern to look.

Isn't that a cute elephant for the contest?!

We cooked some pumpkin seeds for snack.

Some of the kids really liked them!
